"Rustic air-conditioned coffeeshop serving up some seriously good local food! The curry chicken was fragrant and yummy, while the nasi lemak rice and mee siam was also quite special and fragrant as well. The nasi lemak curry mutton was the main highlight for me bursting with beautiful, rich and delicious spices and flavours. The kampung fried rice was good as well! The milo here is nice but the coffee is lacking slightly."

"I recently visited Kafei Dian and had a truly pleasant experience. The café has a cozy, minimalist atmosphere that makes it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. The food was definitely a highlight. Their menu offers a nice mix of comfort food and modern café dishes, all presented beautifully. Everything I tried was flavorful and well-prepared, showing attention to detail in both taste and presentation. The coffee was also excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with quality beans. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which added to the overall welcoming vibe of the place. The staff seemed knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations. Overall, Kafei Dian is a hidden gem in Petaling Jaya. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a cozy café with good food, it’s definitely worth a visit."

"1. Penang prawn noodle soup: the broth is really prawny and a little spicy, which really suits our tastes. I prefer the yellow-colored noodles to the white ones. The only cons is I wish there were more toppings added. 2. Fishballs: the fishball texture is light and bouncy, which is different from the ones we normally have in Vietnam (positively) 3. Kaya toast bun + half boiled eggs: the kaya sauce smells really good, tastes coconut-like and not too sweet, which is a bonus point. We left the eggs in the hot water probably longer than we should, so the eggs were quite thickened, but still very fudgy. Together with a bit soy sauce, they were very delicious and well-balanced. 4. Siew mai king: it’s not as good as expected because the covering flour was mushy a super big bonus point is the serving lady, she was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quite hot, make sure you bring a hand fan with you"

"Had a pleasant dining experience at Kafei Tian. The food was alright, and the service was good, especially from Ms. Thu Zar. She was very observant and thoughtful, noticing that I had finished my sambal and proactively offered me an extra serving for my nasi lemak without me having to ask. The overall environment is cozy and unique. The outlet's nostalgic 1960s-style décor brought back many childhood memories and created a warm, charming atmosphere. Combined with the attentive service, it made the visit enjoyable. Overall, a nice place to dine and relax. I would gladly visit again."
